Program Coordinator - Swedish
Since 1958, STS has provided international education in the form of high school exchanges around the world. Since our beginnings in 1958, we have sent over 1,200,000 students out to explore new places and discover themselves in the process. Today we have offices several countries and a large global network of partners, schools, host families and local employees all over the world. We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team and take responsibility over the Finnish market and students.
About the position
Your daily tasks will mainly consist of communicating with our future and existing students, their parents and international partners. You will be handling administrative tasks, prepare and support the students and parents the exchange year and take good care of the whole customer journey. As our customer journey is rather long your tasks will vary a lot depending on which time of the year it is, which makes the role very interesting since you always learn something new!
You will work closely with our Nordic Customer Success Manager to support the market and secure a smooth preparations and support to our students. We would love if you have lived/worked/studied abroad yourself, but this isn’t a requirement, we welcome applicants from various backgrounds!
Some of your main tasks
• Follow-up on students and guardians who confirmed their spot on the program.
• Be a trusted contact person for students and guardians throughout the exchange period.
• Represent the organization and present the company's product portfolio.
• Build good relationships with existing clients, as well as school counselors.
• Hold preparatory departure meetings for future exchange students and their guardians.
• Create application and visa guides for countries that require this.
• Manage application documents and travel for the student.
• Build relationships and maintain good communication with respective recipient organizations.
• Collaborate with our international colleagues and partners to create the best possible experience for our customers.
Requirements
Fluent in Swedish and English
Driven and goal-oriented
Knowledge of Finnish, Danish or Norwegian is desirable but not a must
Previous experience of customer-service – you understand each customer is unique, take pride on finding the right program for your customer and follow through that they had a great experience with STS
Great interest in delivering world-class customer experience
Excellent communication skills
Love building long-term relationships with customers and partners
Desired skills/qualities, Previous experience
Working experience within international education/tourism/sales/service or similar is beneficial
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
Can work independently and manage and prioritize your tasks
